 Having been out of veterinary school, we, understandably, forget most of this information;

The idea for this guide comes directly from Dr. Leatrize. She has compiled her notes from her time as a veterinary student

to help her assess cases quickly— until a more thorough reference can be located

 

 

She was inspired by a scene in a series

" All Creatures Great and small"

In which,  a newly graduated veterinarian was practicing, and forgot which disease he was working with.

To remedy this, he went to a room without the client and scanned his notes to help him jog his memory.

Dr. Leatrize realized that after she graduating, she would encounter the same scenario:

being familiar with the disease but needing to scan the notes as reference, to make sure.

Through illustrating and summarizing her notes, scanning her notes could be done easily.

In celebrating her 25th birthday, Dr. Leatrize releases her first book and we can’t wait to see more of her notes and merch.
